Organisation Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 September 2026
1. Who These Terms Are For
These terms apply to you if you list an event, sell tickets, or collect money through Tickgate. They are in addition to our Terms & Conditions, which apply to everyone who uses the Platform, and our Privacy Policy. Where these terms and the Terms & Conditions differ on a matter between you and Tickgate, these terms apply.
In these terms, "Tickgate", "we" and "us" mean Multixers Technology (Registration No. 202603017629 (003813923-W)). "You" means the organisation you set up and the person agreeing on its behalf, who confirms they are authorised to do so.
2. Verification of Your Organisation and Events
Before you can publish an event, we verify your organisation: the name and identity of the person or company behind it, and the bank account any money is paid out to. You must give us true and current information, and update it when it changes. We may ask for supporting documents at any time, and may hold payouts until we have them.
We also verify each event before any of its money is paid out. Until it is verified its tickets can still be sold, but all its money is held. Changing your bank account, or the documents for an event, means it is verified again.
3. Your Events
You are solely responsible for your events: what they are, where and when they happen, who may attend, the licences and permits they need, and their compliance with Malaysian law. Tickgate provides the platform on which they are listed and through which tickets are sold; we do not organise, host, or take part in them.
You may not list an event that is unlawful, that you are not entitled to run, or that misrepresents what a buyer will receive. That includes, but is not limited to, gambling or betting, an unlicensed performance of someone else's work, adult content, an investment scheme or recruitment drive dressed as an event, an event promoting hatred against any group, and any gathering that needs a permit you do not hold. We may unlist or remove an event, without notice, where we reasonably believe it breaches these terms or the law, or where we are required to.
What you upload. You confirm that you own, or are licensed to use, everything you put on the Platform — posters, photographs, artwork, descriptions, names and logos — and that showing it here infringes nobody's rights. You indemnify us against any claim that it does.
So that we can list and promote your event, you grant Tickgate a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show, resize and adapt what you upload, wherever your event appears: its own page, listings, search results, the pictures a link to it shows when it is shared, and our own channels. The licence lasts as long as the event is listed, and afterwards only for records and for pages that already carry it. Where someone tells us in good faith that something you uploaded infringes their rights, we may take it down and will tell you why.
4. Tickets, Pricing and Event Terms
You set your own ticket types, prices and quantities. The price you set is what the buyer pays for the ticket; the service fee is handled as set out in clause 6.
You may set your own terms for an event — including its refund conditions. Where you do, they are shown to the buyer before they pay, and they bind you as well as the buyer. Where you set none, our Refund Policy and the buyer's statutory rights apply.
5. How Money Is Collected
For online payments, Tickgate collects the money from the buyer on your behalf. The buyer pays us; we hold what is collected for you and pay it out under clause 7. Payment made by a buyer to us discharges that buyer's obligation to you for the ticket.
Where you take payment by your own QR code or in cash, the money never passes through Tickgate. You receive it directly, and you alone are responsible for recording it, reconciling it, and refunding it. We do not verify, guarantee, or hold any part of it.
6. Service Fee
We charge a service fee on tickets sold through the Platform. The rate that applies to you, and whether it is added to the buyer's total or taken out of what you are owed, is shown in your dashboard and on each event.
The service fee is charged on tickets paid by QR code or in cash too. Since that money never reaches us, the fee is taken from your balance, which may therefore go below zero; what is owed is recovered from your later takings, or you must pay it to us on demand.
We may change the rate, telling you by email at the address on your organisation and in your dashboard at least thirty (30) days before it takes effect. Tickets already sold keep the rate that applied when they were sold. If you do not accept a change, you may stop selling and close your account before it takes effect; what you are owed is settled under clause 7.
7. Payouts
What you are owed is held as a balance, across all your events rather than event by event. Since refunds and complaints arrive after an event rather than during it, each online payment is held back for a while before it can be paid out:
- all of it for a set period after it is paid, and never before our payment provider has settled it to us;
- after that, your organisation's reserve — a proportion of it — until a set number of days after the tickets it paid for are over. Where those tickets have no end date, the reserve is held until we pay it out;
- whatever a refund asked for, or approved and not yet given, would take back;
- all of an event's money until that event is verified, and, where we set a cap on an event, anything beyond that cap until its tickets are over.
Payouts run weekly. Where the balance available to you meets the minimum, it is paid out automatically to the verified bank account on your organisation; otherwise it waits for the next week. The periods, your reserve, the payout day, and the minimum are shown in your dashboard.
We may hold, delay or withhold a payout where verification is incomplete, where we are investigating a dispute, chargeback or suspected fraud, or where we are required to by law or by our payment providers. We will tell you when we do and why, unless we are prevented from doing so.
8. Refunds, Cancellations and Chargebacks
Refunds are yours to decide, on the terms you published. When a buyer asks for one, you approve or decline it, and give your reason if you decline. You give an approved refund yourself — by transfer to the bank account the buyer gives you, or in cash where they paid in cash — and record it on the Platform, which ends the tickets in that order.
If you cancel or materially change an event, you must tell ticket holders promptly and refund them where they are entitled to it. Where you do not, we may refund buyers who paid online ourselves, out of your balance, to meet our own obligations to them. Where your balance does not cover it, you must pay us the difference on demand, and we may set it off against later takings.
Service fees are not refunded — neither the buyer's nor yours — including where an event is cancelled. A chargeback or payment reversal raised by a buyer is deducted from your balance, together with any fee our payment provider charges us for it.
9. Buyer Information
We pass you the information buyers give when they order — their name, contact details, and the answers to any questions you set. You may use it only to run the event they bought a ticket to. You may not sell it, pass it on, or use it for marketing without that buyer's consent. You are a data user in your own right under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and are responsible for handling it lawfully.
10. Suspension and Closing Your Account
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We will settle what you are owed once the events already sold have passed and the period for refunds and chargebacks has run.
We may suspend or close your organisation where you breach these terms, where verification fails or is withdrawn, where we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity, or where we are required to. Suspension does not relieve you of your obligations to buyers who already hold tickets.
11. Liability
You indemnify Tickgate against any claim, loss or cost arising from your events, from your breach of these terms, or from your handling of buyer information.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with these terms, in aggregate, does not exceed the total service fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may change these terms. Where a change materially affects what you are paid or what you owe, we will tell you by email at the address on your organisation and in your dashboard at least thirty (30) days before it takes effect, and ask you to agree again before you carry on selling. Other changes take effect when published. Each version is dated, and the version you agreed to is recorded against your organisation.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
